About The Pageant

REHEARSAL FOR PAGEANT; THIS IS MANDATORY: Levy Performing Arts Center at Florida Gateway College. Feb 4 6-8p.m.,for the younger contestants, and Feb 5, 6-9p.m., for the Older contestants.

PAGEANT is February 6, 2027. Younger contestants will need to be at the Performing Arts Center no later than 9 a.m. , for the start of the pageant promptly at 10.a.m. INTERVIEWS for the older contestants will start approximately at 1:30 p.m. Their pageant will begin promptly at 4:55 p.m.
If your younger contestant is crowned, she will need to be available after the evening pageant for photos with the older contestants around 7:30 p.m. ( You are welcome to attend the evening pageant) We will have waters and some snacks backstage, but please make sure your contestant has eaten breakfast/lunch.

We will have at least one or possibly two cosmetologists backstage to do hair and make up (or touch ups). If you are interested in hiring her to do your contestant’s make up and/or hair, please let one of the directors know so we can get you in touch with them.

If your contestant is crowned, please make note that you and your queen will be signing their contract on Feb 10, 2027 at Brittany’s Cupcakes in Lake City. Her first appearance will be at the Olustee Festival downtown on February 12. Time to be announced later.

Opening # dress will be provided to you. Contestant will need a “casual” outfit to model and her evening gown. For casual, think Resort Wear. Our theme is PALMS, PEARLS AND PARADISE. Be creative!

Tickets are being presold by the contestants as a competition that will not go toward her final score.

Presale $5 for all. At the door $10 Adults and $5 students, 2 and under are free.

CONTESTANTS MUST LIVE OR ATTEND SCHOOL in the following counties:  Baker, Columbia, Dixie, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Lafayette, Madison, Taylor Suwannee, and Union.

To enter please complete the registration form and email the form to olusteepageant@gmail.com or bring to orientation on December 6th, 2027, at Wesley Methodist Church. 

Pageant fees are paid via the forms listed in the packet and must be received before a child is entered into pageant. Once we receive your registration and payment, we will email you confirmation.

Contestant Information & Pageant Fees:

Beauty – attire is dress or gown and will be judged on poise, showmanship, and gracefulness onstage.
Photogenic – will be judged on the photograph entered by each contestant and judged on the beauty captured in the photo.
Fun Fashion – will be judged on creativity and fun while being confident and showmanship on stage. This outfit should show your confidence and fun side. (No gowns)
Talent – will be judged on that. Bring your best and show it off.
An interview will be conducted on the information page of the application so be specific in these answers, so the judges get to know you before they meet you.
Presale Ticket contest – We are giving the contestants the opportunity to win ½ of her presale ticket money. The contestant who sells the most presale tickets wins ½ of her presale ticket money.

Pageant fees will be due on or before the registration date. Pageant entry fees listed below:
Ages 2 yr-10 yr (Photogenic, Casual wear, Evening gown) $105 –  Optional Talent can be added for ages 2-10 years for $20.00
Ages 11yr-22yr (Interview, Casual Wear, Evening Gown, Talent) $195 – Opening number dress is included with the fee. 

 Talent is a mandatory category for the 11yr-22yr divisions.

Little Miss 5yr –7yr
Petite Miss 8yr-10yr
Teen Miss 11yr –13yr
Junior Miss 14yr –16yr
Miss 17yr-22yr

Pageant Rules
NO practice will be allowed in the auditorium except during regularly scheduled rehearsal times. Do not show up at the Wesley Methodist Church to ask for individual rehearsal.
NO glamour shots allowed for photogenic.
Contestants must reside or attend school in Baker, Columbia, Dixie, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Lafayette, Madison, Taylor, Suwannee and Union.
The winner of the Miss Olustee Title must fulfill her obligations to receive her monetary award. In the event the winner cannot fulfill her duties, her crown will be forfeited and awarded to the next runner-up.
Rehearsal Schedule is listed. All photogenic pictures MUST be turned in at rehearsal.
Deadline for entry is December 6, 2026. Because of printing deadlines for the program, we WILL NOT accept any late registrations.
